Foreign Language

Students in Kindergarten are taught Spanish on a weekly basis, while 1st through 7th grade

students receive instruction twice each week. Students learn to read and write in Spanish. 

English-speaking students learn the fundamentals of a second language and Hispanic

students develop their reading and writing skills in Spanish, a language they know only as a

spoken tongue.  Students not only learn the language, but also a little of Spanish history,

culture, and traditions.
