Foreign Languages
Students in grades PK - 7 are
taught Spanish on a weekly basis, with 6th and 7th grade students receiving
instruction twice each week. Students learn to read and write in Spanish.
English-speaking students learn the fundamentals of a second language and
Hispanic students develop their reading and writing skills in Spanish,
a language they know only as a spoken tongue.
Students in the eighth grade
are taught Latin twice a week.
